Our featured cigar currently is the Cain Daytona. This cigar from Studio Tabac is a "Straight Ligero" with a twist. The Cain and Cain Serie F are a blend of Esteli, Condega and Jalapa ligero, but the Daytona Daytona is Straight Jalapa Ligero which lends a smoother, sweeter smoke. The Cain Daytona comes in five sizes and is a favorite among those who seek deep, full and rich flavors with a slightly sweeter finish.

Sourcing all the filler, binder and the Habano wrapper from the Jalapa valley, the northernmost tobacco growing region of Nicaragua, allows Studio Tabac to produce a cigar that opens with a nutty, mocha-like sweetness with some notes of butterscotch and a faint red pepper spiciniess at the edge of the palate. Progressing through the cigar a caramel-like smoothness steps up to complement the coffee and sweet nutty notes, then deepens to a sweetness resembling honey with hints of chocolate and slight touches of citrus; all complimenting a fuller spiciness.
